APA Algo Sales

The FX Spot and Algo Specialist will be responsible for promoting our anonymous and disclosed streaming Spot and Algo business to existing and prospective clients. The role will be to support the sales business in client pitches, to support the Liquidity Management team in understanding client needs and industry trends and to monitor the existing activity and future client pipeline across the APAC region. The role will involve internal and external client consultation as well as internal communication across all time zones.


Your responsibilities

Product knowledge and demonstration capability

1.       Provide support to the APAC Sales team in positioning the streaming Spot and Algo products

2.       Comfort in demonstrating to clients Disclosed / Undisclosed Liquidity benefits, with a particular focus on the Spot and Algo capabilities

Sales and Pipeline monitoring

2.       Provide monthly reporting to Senior Management, highlighting Sales progress, Pipeline issues and highlighting business risks

3.       Must be able to communicate clearly and confidently with Sales across the region to gather the required information

Business Development / Strategy

·       Manage relationships with 3rd party aggregator providers and liquidity pools/venues

·       Liaise with and act as a resource for the local and global Liquidity Sales and Execution Management team

·       Work closely with global sales force to maximize our global customer relationships and cooperate as a member of a team in global sales opportunities

·       Maintain relationships with key clients and pro-actively work with them to maximize client revenue potential

·       Provide input to sales/product strategy and tactics

·       Individual will be targeted on the overall growth of APAC Spot and Algo business

·       Manage existing client base and Spot revenue stream

·       Identify new commercial and strategic revenue-generating opportunities



Your profile

12.   Professional with at least 3 years of FX Spot or Electronic Platform exposure

13.   Structured and organised approach to Business MIS

14.   Confident demonstration skills

15.   Reliable and capable of consolidating customer loyalty and performance through constant advisory and identification of requirement

16. Problem-solving skills and ability to work under time pressure

17.   Strategic/creative thinking and analytical

18.   Excellent listening, writing, presentation and communication skills

Educational Requirements

Bachelors Degree or higher

Experience Requirements

3+ years in a sales role within FX Spot or electronic trading
